Today's cluttered world overwhelms us with information and material objects, and as a result, our society is experiencing an increase in stress-related health issues. There are struggles to maintain a balanced life, and we are left feeling more stressed and anxious than ever before. The crisis of humanity is no longer just about the material, but it creeps into the existential and spiritual realms.
The collection ‘Inner Garden’ explores this new collective challenge – acting as a metaphor for the development of our inner worlds, and the search for clarity in our minds. The visual language of the collection has recurrent themes inspired by the practice of meditation by Buddhist monks and the comparison of the soul to a garden.
